Ministry of Education and UNICEF, 2023Why it matters
A fair start for the children of Sri Lanka
Many families still struggle to keep their children learning and healthy. Your gifts help provide the essentials: school supplies, catch-up classes, health checks and nutrition support, so every child has the chance to thrive.
We focus on the schools that need it most, such as Komana Vidyalaya in Ampara District, and work directly with principals and teachers to understand what is really needed.
Where your donation goes
Three concrete ways to make a difference
Every contribution funds real projects, chosen together with the schools.
Education and support
School kits, after-school classes and sports equipment help children catch up and grow with confidence.
Health and nutrition
Medical check-ups and meals support healthy growth and school attendance.
Water and basic facilities
Many schools lack drinking water, toilets and basic equipment: this is where we want to reach next.
Next project
Drinking water for Komana Vidyalaya
The students of Komana Vidyalaya still struggle to get drinking water. We are preparing a project to solve this problem and, to make it happen, we respectfully ask for the support of every one of you.
