In short: we only collect the data we need to reply to you. We don’t advertise, we don’t use tracking tools and we never sell your data.
Who we are

What data we collect
- Contact form: your name, email and message, only to reply to you. We keep them for up to 12 months after our last exchange.
- WhatsApp: if you message us, we use your number only to reply.
- Donations: the site doesn’t collect payment data. From a bank transfer we receive the name, amount and reference, which we keep for 10 years as accounting law requires.
- Browsing: our hosting provider logs technical data, such as your IP address, to run and protect the site.
- Photos: we publish photos of our activities with the consent of the people shown (and of parents, for children). If you want a photo removed, write to us.
Why we’re allowed to
Replying to messages and protecting the site are our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Membership requests fall under Art. 6(1)(b). We keep donation records because the law requires it (Art. 6(1)(c)).
Who sees your data
Only the volunteers who answer messages. To run the site we also use these services: Hostinger (hosting, EU), Google’s Gmail (email; Google may process data in the United States and participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework), Bunny Fonts (fonts, EU) and jsDelivr (one site script). The last two receive your IP address only to load the page. We never sell or share your data.
Cookies
We only use one technical cookie to remember your language. Details in the Cookie Policy.
Your rights
You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data, to limit or stop its use, and to get a copy. Write to thilakkoralage16@gmail.com and we’ll reply within a month. You can also complain to the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
